A few scenes from the Women's March on Washington -- January 21, 2017, Washington D.C.

Hope.

This post will make you smile because it's about hope and love. Today I spent with family in the mountains an hour outside of Washington D.C. We had a chance to see how amazing my godson is. At 21 months, he communicates better than most people I know and he hardly says a word. This young man gives me hope in the future of our children.

Tonight's sunset was spectacular.

Planning our day tomorrow.

Always on the move, he's a bundle of energy.

The Arrival.

Washington D.C.:  We joined planes loaded with women heading to the Nation's Capital for the Women's March on Saturday, January 21, 2017, the day after the inauguration. We are gearing up for the adventure of a lifetime.

Patsy shows me her sign made especially for the march on Saturday, along with her unique Pussy Hat.

They came in all sizes.

This fellow passenger gave me hope for the future.
